Welcome to Rock Rovers (rockrovers.ca). By using this website you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. What Rock Rovers Is
Rock Rovers is a platform that helps car campers and overlanders find free and discounted services and suggested overnight parking spots in Newfoundland. Local businesses can list special offers. Individuals can suggest overnight spots. We also offer an optional paid annual membership that includes a printed book, magnetic emblems, and access to member features.

2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you register or submit listings.

3. Membership
The annual membership is a one-time yearly purchase. It includes the items described on the product page (currently a printed book and two magnetic emblems) and access to member areas for one year. Physical items are shipped by us. Membership does not auto-renew; you may purchase again for a further year.

4. Business Listings and Overnight Spots

  • Business offers and overnight spot suggestions may be reviewed before they appear on the site.
  • We may edit, refuse, or remove content that is inaccurate, unsafe, misleading, or inappropriate.
  • Overnight spots are suggested locations only. They are not official campgrounds. Users visit them at their own risk and must respect private property, local rules, and leave-no-trace principles.
  • Rock Rovers does not own or manage these spots and is not responsible for conditions on site.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

  • Submit false, harmful, or illegal content
  • Use the site to harass others or spam
  • Attempt to disrupt or misuse the website or other users’ accounts

6. Intellectual Property
Content on this site (including text, branding, and design) belongs to Rock Rovers or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without permission.

7. Disclaimer
The site and all listings are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that every offer or overnight spot will be available, accurate, or suitable. Travel and camping involve risk; you are responsible for your own safety and decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rock Rovers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, membership, business offers, or overnight spots.

9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
